Coach Profits Plummeting

Coach Inc. sales are plunging due to handbag shoppers taking their foot traffic and dollars to Micheal Kors and other rivals. The company targets mostly upper middle class and the high class populations with its $600 handbags. Coach said profits fell 20% amid a steep drop in sales in North America. Sales will continue to fall through the rest of the year, the company said. The company is trying to expand its products by producing more lifestyle items like clothing and accessories vs. just handbags. Coach rivals include Vera Bradley, Kate Spade, Micheal Kors, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Door County to Become Roadless

Construction to eliminate all county highways and roads will begin June 30th, 2014 just in time for the peak of the tourist season. Roads including Highway 42  and 57 will be completely deconstructed and bike paths will replace them. All back roads and county roads will also be torn down. The county board made this decision in order to to aim for the goal to be the "greenest" county in America. For transportation, a bike rental unit will be built at the entrance of the county. Bikes including single, tandem, triplet, mountain, dirt, city, style, Islamic, trikes, Swiss, hydro bikes will be available to rent.
